Ok guys I have friend selling his grand Cherokee with 17" wheels and 245/75/r17 Duratracs with less that 500 miles on them. He offers to give them to Me^ for free if I buy adapters to fit my wheels and tires to his and his wheels and tires to mine. I have 245/75/r16 destination ATs. Are adapters safe? Is it worth it? |

So you'll end up paying over $400 for all 8 spacers just to run those tires and wheels??? Not worth it I don't think. You're then forced later into buying more expensive tires etc when its time to replace I wouldn't but then there's a lot of things I would not do that others do and vice -versa

no... $200. a pair of adapters is $100 and you need a pair for front and then rear.... whats the bolt pattern on the wheels anyway? some grands had the correct bolt pattern. |

No...400 bucks = 4 sets he has to buy 4 adapters for his to fit the other guys then 4 to fit the other guys to his, so 8 total assuming it is a different bolt pattern like later models have |
