Ok i know that this have been posted and discussed a million times over but i just need to know the best, bolt on and safest way to get some more lift in the front I’m currently running 926 and 948 omes with Nitrocharger sport shocks with stock bumpers and no winch and still get only about 21.4" from center cap to highest fender point in front or a bit less maybe now that it has settled a bit
im not lookng to get rid of rubbing as im only running 245/70/16 but i just want a taller stance for offroading

Please include part numbers if possible or just the source
thanks guys

3/8ths upper plate from boiler

and 3 conduit nuts per side in the clevis from the hardware store

is the clevis necessary or could i just put 2 upper plates per side??
also the upper plates that boiler does are direct fit right and if yes do i still need a spring compressor for installation??

no spring compressor needed, they go on top of the upper plate

can't fit two, the studs aren't long enough

plus, a 3/8th plate = 3/4" lift

clevis isn't necessary, and 3 nuts also = aprox 3/8ths of an inch or 3/4" lift

It may be monetarily more efficient to try the clevis first and see how much more lift you'd want (boiler has two thicknesses of upper plate spacers , you won't need a compressor for the clevis either, nor would it require unbolting the coil-over assembly from the vehicle

but ultimately it's up to you

Post subject:  Re: Extra front lift

just regular ol' 2" conduit nuts, can get them at ACE or Lowes etc

take 3 of them and use some electrical tape to keep them together, just makes it easier to keep them together when putting them on the clevis

should only cost ya like 5 dollars or so for the 6 nuts

With the 926 springs that will be all you get unless you add the top plates and clevis lift like jarhead stated.
Order from boiler, he has a post in the vendors section, he maybe able to ship some conduit nuts along with your order (for a fee) if you ask nicely . :ROTFL:

Of course you don't even need them just raise the bottom of the shock up out of the clevis about 3/8 of an inch and tighten down

I'm having a bit of a problem getting the shims from Boiler cuz he only ships inside the USA :banghead:
so im thinking of going with either the 1/4" JBA strut spacers (JBA-SSP025) + a clevis lift or the Daystar spring spacer that comes with the Franky (JBA-KJ09119BK) without Clevis.

what do you think guys??

easier to do the shims from JBA since he ships
