Since becoming a member of this site I have done quite a bit to my jeep..
2.5 Rustys suspension lift
Differential change front and back... oil change...trans fluid and filter change...spark plugs...air filter..oil...rage roof basket..
OK running 265 75 16s on stock rims...thats been tripping my trans temp light...i had my roof basket loaded and hauling 3 adults....at first i thought it was wind resistance...pulled gear off and stuffed it into the cab...after 30 miles it came back on...fortunately i remember reading some posts about that tire size and turned off my overdrive...that seemed to solve the problem until i ran up steep hills on the interstate and the trans temp light still came on...(i have a few codes that popped up on that trip/ transmission related)
i used to run 245 75 16s with no problem like that at all...
without switching over to 4:10s what can i do about the trans temp issue...?
at this point im ready to switch back to 245s....
BTW im at 217K and i did take it to mexico....
