so, i noticed my brakes were leaking fluid yesterday. my front driver side brake was gushing all over my driveway. took it to the dealer and he says that because i have a 2.5 daystar spacer lift. he says the struts were banging on the metal brake line and knocked it loose. he says i need to get brakeline extensions. i have never heard of anyone getting brakeline extensions on the front brakes. anyone got any thoughts on the issue?

No need for the front as the front lines are longer then needed for up to a 4" lift.Rubber flex lines will wearout, you can get OE replacements or you can go the JBA's website and get the braided stainless steel replacements for a 2.5" lift that will include a longer rear line which is needed, worth every penny also.
