Ordered my ome springs 927 and 948. Deciding on some shocks/struts. I've been looking around for lift write ups. I've been able to find a few frankenlift write ups. It seems fairly straight forward. However, I've yet to find a write up on a ome lift with separate struts that haven't been assembled into the coil yet. Is this doable with an autozone spring compressor? What else is needed to assemble the coil and the strut? Any write ups out there?
Thanks,

Easiest way is to find a shop to compress them. The coils are very close together and hard to get any compressor in, not worth it in my book. The write up for a Frankenlift pretty much tells it all, some little tricks along the way but its not a hard job.
Like mentioned any shop with a wall mounted compressor can do the "shocks" and springs for you

Now that "I'VE" lifted my Renny, I can speak as an expert. I agree with Tom 100%. Let a shop do the compressing for you. The rest is straight forward if you have a couple of handy guys to help you out.

Kegan, have a look at this:

If you know what you are doing you can compress the springs yourself, but they are narrow and very tough...So be careful.
