Got my lift and tires. Inner wheel well will be trimmed this weekend.

My only complaint is my new wandering steering, I feel like Im driving a bus or dump truck at times. Im sure I could expect some of this with the lift but I wonder if it isnt a symptom of the next thing my KJ needs. A condition of my new suspension geometry? Need for wider rim? Increase or decrease backspacing ? Need bushings? Control arms?

I know, I should get them all :P

Stock wheels, 245 75s... Thanks in advance.

After lift, about a thousand miles and a bit of wheeling inbetween mine is settled now. Seems that it wanders ever so slightly but only if im not paying close enough attention. Also depends on roads a bit.

I'd be getting a alignment about every month or so for the first year.I do mine every oil change, and get paid to do it 8) .

Oh and just because it's "in specs" does not mean the alignment is good.If your wandering is at higher speeds and you checked your tie rods and R&P bushings(and are good) then you have a caster issue.

Maybe this is or isnt related. But Tread Wright recommended a static setting of some sort during balancing? The mounting place disregarded it and said the other is better. I got a TON of weight on my wheels...

I'm having the same issue! I'm taking mine to get the alignment checked again just to make sure, I hope its not the R&P going out. Mine was wandering a little prior to the lift but it is more pronounced now.
