Just test fitting the passenger front OME/Bilstein and have the Boiler's shims and 2 conduits in. This is my first IFS job ever and not really sure about the CVs. Is this pushing it with a 2002 with the original CVs or do many of you run older KJs even higher without issues?

I will be putting in JBA 4.5s as soon as they get here and the ARB is just getting started today. Hoping better UCA geometry and a bit of settling with extra weight will keep CVs at a bit less extreme angle eventually... but until then should I worry at all or watch for anything?

(Thx to Mudd and TJKJ posts and sticky this install was a lot easier than I had thought - perhaps driver's is a bit more challenging. Thanks again y'all!)

The ratchet straps, and stuffing a socket in the clevis pinch make this much less painful. Have another pic somewhere using the ratchet straps at the end to pull a bit towards the frame, just hooked them around the frame rails and midway down the clevis so hands were free to push, insert a tapered punch and wiggle in the bolt.

Mind you also have another pic of the return spring in the ratchet strap after it exploded out - thank God for $2 goggles. Guess it didn't like being ratcheted right into the frame rail... stil works fine just no clicking and a bit harder to reel in.

You'll be fine, we've taken them past where you are plus it will settle in some and after your first alignment it will be even better. You should be about 22.25-22.50 in the front when finished and aligned

Tom - just breathed a small sigh of relief - thx man. Initially the angle looked really unhealthy but left a jack under LCA with a bit of load to see. Guess the bumper will bring me down a bit eventually regardless.

Only put one extra (two total) rear iso so no rake initially right? (though there are 948s that are new it might be a bit higher than I initially thought at the back)

The other detail is the front bottom iso looks really close to the metal of the wheel well - scrapingly close... wonder if it could be a problem. Perhaps pounding the bottom of the well in a bit or having to shave off a bit of rubber eventually?
