I switch to cable modumb (yes dumb). And since the co. doesn't have our paper work yet, I can't ans all the e-mails about the a-arms.
So here it goes....
The welder made two sets over the weekend, one was sent out today to Chad Page, the other was the custom 3 inch drop set I needed for my 5" lift experiment. The welder has committed to 10 sets by the end of this week. As they come in I will send them out. I know this doesn't have to do anything with the group buy, but I rec'd about 7 orders this weekend. I will send them out to the most needy. At least three of you said that their uppers were completly shot, and were waiting on me.
By the way, you will be getting the new and improved set with a larger (better than the NASCAR ball joint bung we were buying) ball joint bung and press in fittings for the bushings.
To explain a little more, I use the OEM rubber bushings, they are quiet and don't transmit the suspension sound into the cab as would a poly bushing. The arms are about a 1/8 inch longer than stock, and drop the ball joint around and inch. They also change the ball joint angle. If contact with the spring occurs at full droop, the ball joint bung hits the spring not the ball joint or boot (as the OEM units do). As testified in the Group Buy thread, the wheel alignment improves. If you get a chance, go to the tech articles and see Ted's write up (USAFCOP)
Sorry for all the confusion, I can recieve e-mails, but I can't respond just yet. What did we do before computers, oh-yea, something call a fax and telephone. Smoke signals, two cups and long string.......
