if you're getting a spring kit, don't bother worrying about the strut relocation bracket...just make sure you order the frankenlift or the Rusty's spring kit...

I think your speaking about the rear right? Basically, it moves the mount from below the axle to above the axle. This gives you a little more clearance in the rear. Its a weld on thing, not bolt on, in case you were wondering. Of course, we could be talking about 2 different things....good luck!!

There is no such thing for any of the existing KJ lift kits. Couold you post a link to the information you are reviewing?

I thought maybe things got confused and he said struts instead of shocks...

Either way, I wanna see this information about these relocators....

Actually the Daystar lift has one. It just replaces the stock top bracket and moves the strut assembly a little further down.

It allows for a little more downward travel and relieves some coil bind you would normally get with a spacer lift. Basically it helps with the negative effects that spacers have on the ride and articulation of the front suspension.

The Frankenlift uses the Daystar bracket also.

It replaces the top plate on the front struts thereby lowering their position and thus lifting the vehicle. It is combined with new springs. This is common with the 4WD, BDS and other lift kits.

I would not necessarily call that a relocation bracket, more like top strut spacer. Semantics I suppose!

Well you can call it semantics I guess, but the same lift with your stock top plate would ride so rough it would jar your teeth right out of your head. My Teraflex BB was a straight spacer and it SUCKED.

It's the brass colored thingies in this pic...

Chemguy, those top plates are what we put on JaunSTX' green KJ at the lift party.
