I'm sorry to hear about your bad luck, Fouros.

I can't answer your question, but I'm wondering if you can describe the symptoms of a blown strut?

I would email Rancho and ask them if you can use their strut in your application. If they say its okay, then you have some ammo

Did they say just a lifted KJ running OME coils or any lifted KJ? I agree that you should ask Rancho if their strut would be Ok for your application. Tape the call if you can and definately get a name. Pull some James Bond sh... on 'em.

I called Rancho direct at (734) 384-7898. They had no problems replacing my blown 17505 shocks direct from the factory. They just asked for a faxed/emailed copy of the original purchase record. They said they could even do it without original receipt, but would require I send the old shock back to them. They gave me no hassle whatsoever.
