Hey Guys/Gals, Ive been really considering tearing my suspension back apart to add the JBA or Boiler top strut plate to get a little more lift. Then throwing the 1 or 2 isos in the rear to level it out. I just got my OME lift in not that long ago. The problem is that I live in an apartment and can no longer work on the Jeep myself so I have to pay for install. Unless there is someone near Hermosa Beach, CA that wants to help me do the install and has a garage. Is there any big reasons to go through the trouble of doing this? Most people seem to be running 265/75-16 tires. I believe that is the max size I can run with no rubbing weather I do the additional lift or not correct? Thanks Sam |

Don't really need it unless you want the extra lift, if you have to pay someone to do it, then another alignment is it worth it to you ? Thats the question, you more than likely can run 245-75-16s now with 265-75s you're looking at less MPG and not having the ability to run the overdrive unless you regear so...back to whats it worth to you doing it? |

Thanks tom. I dont want to have to regear...too much money and too much work. Is 245-75-16s the biggest I can go to without regearing? What size would you run on a 16 x 7 with just the OME if it were your rig? Thanks for all the help! |

You could run 265/70 without too much rubbing also. They are about the same diameter, but 2cm wider. |
