Okay...well I've found a liberty finally..good change I may end up going to buy it this weekend. I've looked on alljeep.com for the jeep moab wheels that look like this...http://www.lostjeeps.com/forum/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?t=12566 but haven't had any luck finding them. Am I not looking hard enough or?? I love the look of these wheels and would like to purchase them for mine when I get it but I just can't find them!! Help! :o

lurk around www.rubiconownersforum.com. People are always selling them around there, although they are beginning to command a premium becuase so many people want the takeoffs.

Thanks for the reply Pixeldzn...if I get the Liberty I may end up being able to join you guys for the halloween run at the badlands on the 28th. I'm really hoping so!!

So it looks like I'm going to have to spend the money to get them...would it just be easier to find someone who may be willing to sell the renegade wheels (like the look as well) as an alternative? Is anyone trying to get rid of any?

I will probably be selling the Moabs off of my Rubicon early next year when I lift it. I want to get MT Classic IIs with some 33s and give it the Tomb Raider look. Already have the pocket flares on order. :D

If you are really hard up, they are available through Mopar as an accessory, Part # 82208904, lists for $199 a piece which isn't real bad for a factory rim and not too bad compared to aftermarket rims either. the catch is that price is only good when you buy a set of 4, if you want a 5th one for a spare you have to use the normal part # 5HP23PAKAA which lists for $304.

I have the MT Classic with the simulated bead lock rings in chrome and they are beautiful. I didn't realize that they had
2 more inches of backspacing than the stock which is part of the reaso I get alot of rubbing on the fender flares . The other
problem is my sagging skyjacker lift ( I have an ARB and warn winch ) with a dud strut after only 3 months and my 32" Trxux 265 75 16 M/T tires.

Awesome looking KJ...really sharp in white!!

I'm going for the same exact setup, MTRs on the moabs just like yours. Looks very nice!
How do you like the MTRs on the highway? I've heard they are the loudest but noise really won't bother me as long as it's just the tires.

Yes they are LOUD! I hated it for like the 1st three days. (i hav a 2year old so cant crank the tunes anymore)

also I see you have a quad so you may get what i am aboout to say, When you take a dirtbike on the street the knobbies hit the pavemnent, you can feel each knobby hit the grond until you going like 20+mph then it smooths out.....same with the MTR's they are crazy!

haha...oh yea..the knobbies on my quad hum pretty bad on pavement. How are the tires lasting though?? The noise shouldn't bother me as long as they wear good. Also..do you need to lift in order to run the rubi wheels? That was a question I was meaning to ask.. I guess it would depend on the size of the tires but I was wondering if they would work minus a lift. Thanks.

I just installed the rubi's with MTR's on my CRD, no lift. They rub slightly on the pinch weld bump on the fronts, only when backing up. I've not had any rubs going forward. my MTR's are not new though, probably have 15k miles on them and are noticably worn compared to the brand new spare, so New tires may rub more.
