04--Sport --Auto--Anybody happen to have the Napa part # for front and rear greaseable u-joints would you? The Napa here is saying you can't replace front one on rear driveshaft. Also what do you use for clamps on the boots after you remove driveshaft? I assume you have to cut clamps off to remove driveshaft. Thanks

Yes they are replaceable in the rear ( or for both of them on the rear driveshaft)
I use a wire tie to replace the metal band when doing / replacing rear ujoints, NAPA has them takes the same one front and rear. I've bought 6 or 8 pairs there or at least from the NAPA up here

O'Reilly Auto parts also carries the grease-able super strength Precision (Federal Mogul) u-joints. I bought a couple a month or so ago. They cost me about $12 each.

Bought my U-joints from NAPA too. The clamp that goes arround the driveshaft boot can be opened up using a flathead screwdriver and cinched back down using a tool you can pick up from most auto parts stores for clamping CV boots onto FWD cars, it's basically the same metal clamp.

You just put the flathead screwdriver in the small crimped section on the clamp and turn it which prys the clamp open. when you want to lock it back down grab the boot clamping tool and re-crimp.

you can use a pair of dikes or large wire cutters to recrimp that clamp too, with it being steel youd have to do a lot more than just bear down on it to cut it so, itll repinch pretty easy
