Even before the lift, I felt the brakes were lacking on the KJ. Now on the verge of 70k miles I was experiencing some serious pulsating when stopping. Just two days before I brought it in for the job I was getting an audible groan inside the cabin without even pressing on brakes.

I went on a search for new rotors and landed with Power Slot's frozen offerings. For pads I went with Hawks & Gran Sports, both rated 4 out of 5 for stopping power.

I am thrilled with the result, wish I had done it sooner. The breaking power is fantastic and there is absolutely no rotor vibration at any speed.

Good to know, but where did you get the clear turning signals that you smoked? Been dying to find some for an 06.
