Stock 07. Just tore my sidewall so I'm in the market for new set of tires. In the mean time I'm running the spare in front, and it is about 3/8-1/2" larger diameter. Any risk of damage or excess wear on the (open) front diff from the difference in rotation? Obviously the differential is designed for different rotation rates when turning, but will it cause problems if this is happening constantly at highway speeds? This is just short term while price out tires...and possibly a Frankenlift...and thus bigger tires... but I'm not sure how much I should be driving in the current condition. |
