Only one size front bumpstop from Teraflex so no choices there If ordering from JeepinbyAl he also has the top plates and are cheaper than the ones mentioned Brake line extensions I just make a small bracket out of metal drill a couple of holes and done |

You can order from anywhere at all really, many shops can order OME springs and shocks. AllJs ( boulderbars.com) and JeepinByAl are just two places which are great to deal with and have come up with products for the Liberty crowd, so like to support them Prices for OME springs are pretty close no matter where you get them Sometimes its just easier and cheaper in the long run to order from one source. Although I've ordered from about 5 different places over the years |

Most all of the lifts I do is 927 front springs, top plate, and 3/8 inch clevis when done they all average about 22.5-22.75 , that with two extra upper isos in the rear let it sit level. so about 3.5 inches over "new" stock height Where are you sitting at now, ( measured from middle of wheel to bottom of flare) ? |

I measured it at 18 all around . Will it be better to keep it at 2.5 or is it fine to go up to 3.5? |

so the ome lift by its self will give me 2.5" front and back. is it better to keep at that or is it fine to go to 3.5". I would like to keep the front lower than the back. what would be best? |

The OME lift by itself would sit you at about 21.25 to 21.50 again depends on how high you want to go After many teardowns on mine trying different setups/ etc if you stay under 23 you'll be fine. Above that you get spring to UCA contact, CVs start to complain and other things. Now of course you can go higher if you only drive across the yard to the mall. But for a DD everyday 3 to 3.5 will work of course that is only my opinion

if no steel bumpers are planned 927's and the 3/8th with terraflex bumpstops 948's or JBA25 rear coils with 3 total upper iso's and 2 hockey pucks will put ya at a nice height if ya want to go higher with that setup LTT makes a spacer i think you could add to the rear and you could add conduit nuts to the clevis in the front for another 3/4-1" between the front and rear after it's settled unless ya gonna run 32's and regear the lift you're looking at is more than enough for full tire clearance for 245-75s to 265-70 ish range not sure how the top spacer will do with stock UCAs in the front, i never ran mine like that , 927's and 3 in the clevis on a fresh install had no problems after alignment tho i know that much but ya know how that is, each kj's a lil different and runs into different issues |

I realize this is a few posts back, but the brake line extension is pretty simple. I got a piece of flat steel, cut it, heated and bent the ends for small tabs, drilled holes, threw some black primer on it, and bolted it in. The bracket ended up looking something a strange "S" shape. You'll have to take a few measurements to get it to fit right, but like I said, very simple. .... Actually, here's a picture. Yep, went outside at 1am to get this. I'm such a nice guy...

It's probably safer to get spacers for the purpose of a wider stance. Since you're going to be taller, you probably want a better footprint so you don't flip. Now, if you drive very carefully and never take turns fast, you can probably manage without getting spacers. The only problem there is that if someone were to say, pull out in front of you or something of the sort, while attempting to dodge them you would be much more likely to flip since you will then be lifted. Then there's looks. It's going to look kinda funny if you have a lifted vehicle and your tires are tucked up well inside the fenders. Offset wheels or spacers will fix that. Personally, I went ahead and got new wheels with a wider offset. I feel much safer driving AND got the bonus of looking better. I did not go with spacers because the extra torque put on the wheel studs from the spacers can cause the studs to snap. |

tommudd wrote: What ?? Telling someone they have to get spacers or they'll flip when lifted? Ah, oh well Anyways, about the extension: The one I made seemed to fit best on my jeep. At first I thought what you suggested (tom) would be the best idea, but it turned out differently for some reason. I wanted to bend the metal lines as little as possible, so before I made the extension I pulled the metal lines straight down. No idea why, but the brake line just wanted to sit about 2 inches more towards the inside of the jeep. I figured if that was where it naturally wanted to sit, that's where the extension needed to go to for the least stress on the lines. So I made it to spec, put it on there, and tested if there was any stress by compressing both sides of the axle with a jack. Works just fine. |
