I'm thinking of going with ome coils & bilstien shocks for my 05 lib. Wondering if anyone has run that combo and what you think of it.

Tons of folks are running that combo. I am running the HD springs with the Bilsteins and absolutely love it. The ride is beyond awesome, the extra height is just a bonus.

Almost half of the lifts thats been done in my garage is that combo
others wer the Ranchos when you could still get them and OMEs
To me OMEs and Bilstiens ride almost the same very little difference

Not if you don't want to
We just do that for extra height
1/4 top plate gets you another 1/2 inch of lift
3 ring clevis gets you another 3/4 inches of lift
Just depends on how high you want it
Just don't be like 501 , I wanted to do his with everything, but he said no, well we had to redo it here a month ago cause he wanted more lift

No you won't be level with using those and not adding to the rear
If you use the top plate and clevis then you also want to add two upper isolators in the rear then it will set level when its all settled in and alignment is done the second time

Running 265-75-16s on mine but with more lift and 4.10s to compensate for the taller tires and all of the extra weight
245-75-16 is a good overall size to go with or 265-70-16s

again 245-75-16 is a good all around size
unless you want to regear to 4.10s then you can go bigger ( 265-75-16s ) and yes without regearing you'll have a real dog out on the road
JeepinByAl has the top plates

IMHO, I wouldn't use the Bilsteins in the rear with a lift. The longer ones from the Dodge people are using are NOT a direct fit like the OME shocks. Wasted money buying Bilstein, I ended up replacing them with OME L shocks. But I DO like the Bilsteins up front :)

There has been some talk that the OEM designed BIlstein's are NOT as legendary as they used to be, but the higher end ones are where they still keep their reputation. You can get some remote reservoir ones for the rear that would be sweet
