Could be you have lifted it too much where are you sitting middle of wheel to bottom of flare, 4 inches of lift tells me nothing

ya lol i had a 2008 pontiac grand prix before my liberty and the only way i could put pics on the lost forum was through that. im not too tech savey. :?
so i measured it at 22.5 inches. from the center of my wheel to the bottom of my fender flare.
also i stopped by advance auto this morning after work and the guy there said skyjacker makes an after market axle that is stronger that can handle the more extreme angel. has anyone tried this. i like the height im running right now and would like to keep it.

i looked at pics of your kj and i love it btw. the angle of your front axles look pretty extreme too. what did you have to do?

OK you're at 22.5 which is about 3.5 inches
most all of the lifts I've done end up about 22.5 to 22.75 and no problems
I've never seen nor heard of Skyjacker having CVs for the KJs , highly doubt it really
Plus a lot of junk CVs coming from Advance Auto as they are made overseas and are too short.
Have any pics of exactly where the grease is coming out? Could you have hit something causing a small hole?
I'm "over" 23 and no problems with stock rebuilt CVs from NAPA
well I did have problems at 23.75 but............

ya ill try to get some pics. did you have your cv's shortened at all? do you go wheeling with yours? there is a possibility i damaged it only one side is busted.

Nothing at all done to the CVs at all, right side is a remanned NAPA replacement, left side is still stock with 160,000 miles on the Jeep 140,000 miles lifted and yes its been off road a few times :ROTFL:

pkay so i went to my local salvage yards and got both axles with only 24,000 miles on them for 100 bucks! Image
now hopefully sometime next week ill be able to swap them out. at lease the driver side

Check them over good before you install them for any pin holes etc
Also when reinstalling the lift I always wrap a heavy rag over the inner boot so it hopefully doesn't get pinched or anything
Good luck!
