I hope no one minds if I shoot this horse again, but after a particularly distressing "O S*^T" braking manuver on the highway today I once again thought back to trying to upgrade the brakes especially as the JBA 2.5" lift and 245's sit staring at me in my garage. And I don't mean pads and rotors, playing with friction coefficients is nice, I mean truely cranking up the pressure. I know this means calipers, ms and booster, but... can it be that Jeep made all the braking componets especially for the libby? I have been trying to cross reference part numbers in the hopes of finding a dodge family member who has the same parts and going from there but this hasn't gotten me far. Anyone got any thoughts? |

Tjkj2002, based upon your reply I will guess I now have what appear to be the only two options. (A) pads and rotors (B) Vanco custom Thanks for Vanco's info, i'll give them a call for giggles S |

Vanco is awesome! He can build a custom booster, I just need 15" of clearence from the firewall and not a horrid price, expensive, yes, but "good" rotors and pads aren't cheap either. Time to break out the tape measure... |
