Wondering if anyone has fabbed a heat shield for catalytic converters heat being close to driveshaft cv boots?

Think its worth it? I believe the heat helps prematurely dry rot the boot.

Was thinking maybe a piece of sheet metal pop riveted to frame that hangs between boot and converter

Or even getting the fiberglass heat resistant tape to make a barrier against heat, grit, etc, wrapped on driveshaft covering rubber, but I doubt it would last long.

Ideas?
