[size=150]My 4WD indicator light seems to be confused on my 2006 KJ Sport. At International Rally New York 2011 I had to drag a crashed VW Jetta off the course so that competition could continue, that all went fine with no strain at all on the KJ. The problem came in when I shifted back into 2H the "part time" indicator light is now on while in 2H and goes off when I shift into 4H. Mechanically everything is working as it should, it just seems like the light is confused. Has anyone else had this happen, if yes what did you do to correct it? I'm going to try disconnecting the battery to reset the computer. Thanks .....hope someone can shed some light on this for me![/size] |

there is a switch on top of the transfer case that either needs replaced or is stuck. Mines been on and off for over a year , not worth the time to mess with it yet |

This happened to my wifes 04, and it was like that for a few months, and then it went away one day without doing anything....been fine ever since!! one of our work libertys has been doing it for a while now and it hasn't fixed itself ;( it's definitely normal and not really a problem....just annoying. |

Mine was doing that a few years ago. I ignored it and suddenly it started working again. It was good for about two years and now the part time light does not come on, lol. I figure when I am feeling froggy I will change the sensor. Not a big deal in my book. |

my partime light has been on for over 3 years i looked into it and its not worth the time to fix because its only the light and everythin else works fine. |
