Soooo after putting it off forever, I finally put a coldair intake in my Liberty. I just got a 7" K&N cone filter and using clamps and rubber tubbing, bolted one on. It's not half bad. I was suprised by the seat of the pants feel. I dunno how much HP it really added but you can tell a "seat of the pants" diff. Nice sucking sound  when you step on the gas lol. Should help with MPG also. My question is why did I put this mod off so long

After testing several versions of CAI's on mine over 100,000 miles, no extra mileage was noted at all.
All you get is what you think you get by the sucking sound
My best mileage has been and continues to be with the stock box, Amsoil filter and 3 inch hose to the grill

Glad you like yours though

where does it draw cold air from once the under hood temps have reached normal operating temperature? oh and fwiw that k&n will "filter" much better once you get it good and loaded up w/ dirt so don't clean it or it's useless as a filter except for the big chunks.
