 Post subject: ESP light

I changed the lower ball joint,and after a few miles the ESP light came on,i know i had to take the abs sensor off,but what would make it not work right after,i know when i took it off there was a suction noise,how do i fix it ?on a 2006 liberty CRD 4x4
