Does anyone have a picture of the Skid row tranny skid? does it also cover the engine? I already have the oem engine skid, looking for a tranny skid that is a little stronger than oem. not sure if this will work. thx

Bolts on exactly like the OEM trans skid plate. The SkidRow front plate will give you alot more clearance then the OE front skid plate.

Thanks, looks real solid. Jeepinal is selling these as a combo I am guessing? is that two parts or one big skid?

ok, looking at it more closely looks like just a tranny skid. my oem front skid is the first gen that is thicker steel, very beefy I lost some ground clearance with it but couldn't beat the price from a lost member who was getting rid of it.

Will the skid row front plate work with the stock transmission skid?

The front skid only protects the front diff. The trans skid covers the sump for the engines oil pan(along with trans). There is no real engine skid for a KJ.

My Asfir is built more closely to a pre-runner style skid and goes all the way back to the transmission cross member. It is a nice balance of strength, wieght and looks great. People ask me about it and my bumper quite often.
