I'm going to be trading my KJ in. More than likely I'll be getting a Ford F-150 FX4. My trail riding days are over. The Ford will be a 4X4 but no off roading for it other than to tow my camper off road. She has served me well and it makes me sad to even think about losing her. But its just costing to much to keep her in top shape. I will still be on here to get my KJ fix. Terry |

If I get a black Ford it will be Line X'ed and named Black Hawk 2! Maybe this should be in the Off Topic section. But, I have broken a lot of rules before and see no reason to change things now. Then again this is a discussion about a Jeep Liberty 4X4. Terry |

Great timing! It broke down today. I pulled into a gas station for some gas and when I went to leave...NOTHING! Not even a click. I called AAA and they sent a guy out and he checked the battery, fuses and starter relay. All good. I had already checked that stuff. So they sent a wrecker out. I tried jiggling the steering wheel and messed with the gear shift with no results. So it is setting at the dealership now. The tow truck driver said "You don't know how many times I have admired your Jeep from afar". Cool!! I told him I was trading it in and he said if he had the money he would buy it in a heart beat. But all his money is going into his mud bog truck. Terry |

My break down cost me $630.00!!!!!!!!!!!!! The ignition switch broke. Sounds simple doesn't it. There is a part of the switch that has a small (1" long) flat metal piece sticking out. That is what broke. You can't get the blasted thing by itself. You have to get the whole steering column! That little piece comes out of a small box that is held on by 4 screws. Terry |

The KJ went out in the blaze of glory it sounds like? My Camaro started doing strange things when I was trying to sell it. Sorry to hear that you had to get rid of it, but someone else can love it now.

Hey, had the same thing happen to my ignition switch and was able to get just the part online at rockauto.com and it only cost about 60, wish I had seen this before hand. Good luck with the F150! |
