Post subject:  Best quality/price 2003 3.7 rebuild kit with complete timing

I am looking for a complete kit, ebay has a bunch, i could piece one together from morris. Has anyone bought a rebuild kit for the 3.7 or rebuild kits in general? Do the differ in quality? Has anyone heard of timing gears or chains going bad? The guides are a little scuffed with 97xxx on the odometer and i would rather replace them. The engine is being rebuilt by my father and law and myself due to one spun rod bearing that was still intact when we disassembled the engine. I am also interested in opinions on re-manufactured crankshafts vs. turning crankshafts we are looking at a .010 to .020 size change max. Any and all input is great as this is my first motor tear down and want it to last.
