Hi, has anyone recently purchased one of these Front Mount Trailer Hitch for a 2003 Jeep Liberty? http://www.etrailer.com/fmr-2003_Jeep_Liberty.htm I have see some post where now a days they don't fit correctly, ie they are too low? is this correct? Would I need to curt it and re weld it? i don't want to buy something that I need to modify and so weaken it. I am going to be using it with a Mountable winch. Please advise. Thank you Fil. |

Could be that nobody has one mounted on their Libby. It says that you have to remove some of the front bumper cover to mount it. You might ask them if they have a "mounted" picture to see how low it sits, or download the installation instructions. To me that would be the biggest issue, how much ground clearance would you sacrifice. |
