Loose Tubing/Vacuum Tube?

Was changing the oil today and saw a loose tube.. running from somewhere around the engine compartment to about this center beam piece underneath the Jeep was this tube with a red clamp on the end just sitting there not hooked to anything on this end. I could not locate where the other end went due to stuff being in the way up towards the engine.
Any idea? drain pipe maybe for something?

its the soft flexible tube (pic is sitting on its left side):

Can't see your pic, but I'm betting it's a breather tube. It's supposed to be there to allow your diff, etc. to breath. If you like driving through high water, it's a good idea keep em as high and dry as possible, and I believe some may even move them to the air box.

ah ok thanks. the pic works when i see the thread..wierd.
the tube end at between the tailpipe tubing and the diff, right in the middle of the jeep. it has a clamp on it through, which makes me suspect it was supposed to be attached to something
