Hey guys I'm getting ready to take the libby out tomorrow with its new shocks and struts (RS9000XL) and I was wondering what yall though I should put the adjustments at (1-9). We are going to The Mounds in Mt. Morris Michigan and its mostly mud and forest so I'm unsure. Also would you air down your tires at all. I'v only been to the sand dunes so this will be new and fun  Thanks guys!

Mine have been set on 4 since they were new, which is something like 20,000 miles ago. I've been thinking I should probably increase the setting to 5 at this point.

Anyway, setting 4 is a good place to start.

Thanks Draco, I had them set on 2 for the mudding and hills and they performed great. Rancho told me that 5 is about stock and this compares to what most others with them have said. Rancho recommended anything around 7-9 for highway/towing use and as low as 0-1 for offroad use in rough terrain. They are by far the most impressive shocks iv ever experienced for Libertys.

Just for comparison sake, what other shocks have you used on the libby?

Sent using the force

Hope they didn't put the fiber gasket in the adjuster..... that gasket seals for for poop, once water enters that adjuster bore and it starts to corrode you will be stuck on that setting or replacing the shocks (yes Rancho covers that under warranty). I had a set of them and had them replaced after 7 months the first time, as per Rancho pull the shocks off pop the adjusters out remove the fiber gasket put a couple drops of oil in the adjuster pore and reseal them with some gasket maker. If you wheel at all and haven't relocated the rear shocks up to axle height, I also highly recommend buying replacement adjusters because it's only a matter of time before you smash one or both lol.
