Hey guys, having a hell of a time tracking this clunk down. For reference, mods are as in sig, all new suspension parts/ball joints/cv shafts within the last 3k. This problem cropped up about a week ago.

At low speeds (sub 15-20 mph) I'm getting a clunk while braking that is directly related to wheel speed (faster=faster clunk).

I've jacked everything up, spun the tires, had the wife apply light brake pressure and can't duplicate on stands at all.

I've also disassembled the corner I think its coming from (front left) and don't see any visible issues either. I've also rechecked torque on suspension/brake parts and no dice.

Anyone have other ideas? I'm thinking maybe the hub as its the only part up there that wasn't replaced when I did the lift, but don't really want to just throw parts at this thing. Anyone encountered this before?

Thanks all

Well the steering rack bushings are always suspect for making noises when they wear out...also check tightness of all suspension bolts ect...and then check motor mounts. I know they don't seem to be related to speed but they are good to check.

Thanks for the input, I'll look into those.

Update:
Ended up replacing the pads and rotors after going through the suspension for a fourth time. The driver side rotor was pretty warped. Seems to have fixed the noise. Ill update again if it comes back. Weirdest showing of a warped rotor Ive ever seen.

Thanks for the suggestions. :jester:
