Post subject:  Suspension Bushings

The Jeep is going in to get new shocks and front disks soon.

Are there any bushings etc that I should get replaced while its busy? Only the front end, but they pretty much need to strip it down to get the shocks in so thought it would be a good opportunity to replace anything if its cheap enough to do.

If you could be specific with your descriptions so I can find the parts needed online I would appreciate it,

Thanks :JEEPIN:

Hi
I replaced all the lower arm bushes, but my KJ by then had over 80K mls on the clock. The reason why I had to do it was that I the bushes had seased and I could get a correct allignment/camber after the lift. Also after 80 K mls with the salt on the road over here in th UK they had gone. I also ended up changeing all the rear axel ones to at 90 K mls. Now it handles a lot better.
I got my part mainly through Jeep dealers and some of Ebay UK.
Fil.

Thanks for your feedback, mine is on 53 000miles now and there is no major suspension issue that I know of.

Just thought it might be a good precautionary move.

probably just leave it, seems to be loads of them
