Has anybody ordered Black Rock Series 997 Type 8 Steel Wheel from Quadratec recently? They are an inexpensive wheel that I've been looking at but read some posts saying they were back-ordered for up to 4 months. Was originally looking at cragar soft 8's but with the chrome cap they would be $96 per tire in which case I could spend $8 more and get some alloy American Racing wheels that would weigh a lot less. Suggestions? |

When I was shopping for wheels for the heep. I chose that very wheel. If my memory serves me right, that wheel is not TPMS compatible. You should call Quadratec to be sure. I did e-mail Cragar to ask if the soft eight's were TPMS compatible. the only answer I did get was that they should be. I did go with the Cragar soft Eights and that everything did work with the TPMS. However I did purchase new TPMS stuff from Amazon. My next hurdle is a higher lift because the spacer lift ain't gettin' it with the 245/75/16, rub city...(pinch welds and inner fender, heat gun modified) JBA adjust-a-strut on the way for the front and OME for the rear. I hope this helps you in your decision.
