So with the added weight of a winch and skid row plates my OME HD shocks are starting to wear out. Its been 3 years since I lifted my KJ so it may be time to replase the shocks. What are the heaviest duty shocks on the market for a KJ? Or what do you recommend other than a SFA swap. Also I was planning on driving Medano pass to the Great Sand Dunes here in Colorado. Half of the trail is loose soft sand. Its recommended you air down your tires so you don't get stuck... Duh. What is a good tire pressure to run in soft sand? I have experiance driving in soft sand from deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan but that was in a HMMWV and we never aired down. Thanks. |

OME shocks are about if not the best If you've had them on that long its time for a swap anyways May also want to swap out front springs with the added weight |
