Right now I believe I have 2.5 inch spacers front and rear could I replace them with just the 4 inch springs from jba with new shocks? I have the jba arms also

You have to use the whole "kit" if you want his 4 inch
includes everything you need
throw everything you have now away
or you have other options like Ironman, OME, Frankenlift etc

I just want to fit a 33x11.5r18 or so and I'd have to cut about an inch on what I have now. Or just some better coils

Is there a way I could just get another 1-1 1/2 out of what I already have?

No, not from a spacer lift and sagged out springs
and 33s??????? need more than 4 inches better go for a 6 inch lift, steel front diff, 4.56s or 4.88 gears

As of now I have 265/75r16 which is practically a 32" tire. I have about an 1 1/2 to spare, I have had a lot of cutting and my aftermarket bumpers gave me more space. If I was about an inch higher I know for sure I could fit, I could fit them now but they would rub

And also why the 4.56's or 4.88's I mean our kj's have a 3.7 v6? I know guys running 37's with 4 cyl tjs with those gears.

Because with 245/75-16's the KJ is right on the edge of being a real dog without going to 4.10's. With the tires you want to put on it you'll never be able to use Overdrive - or if you try the tranny will fry in short order.

Keep your JBA upper control arms and replace everything else with OME 927/948, a top plate in the front above the shock mount, lift the clevis 3/8" of an inch, put in a Terraflex bumpstop in front, add two rear upper iso's with 2 hockey pucks for a bumpstop. Then go with 245/75's and plan on regearing the front and rear to 4.10's.

Yes they are and they are dogs on the highway, and even off road they do not do the best unless REGEARED!

Well if you're so gun ho about it, go for it and then come back and tell us all the problems you encountered. Then we can all say I told you so. Tom didn't Larry do a cradle drop ALONG with his lift and tons of cutting? What do you know though?

He did a lot of cutting and bending
cradle drop came in when motor was being installed

and if you want to go bigger, 33s etc and have it driveable then either JBA 6 inch and steel diff
or stay where you are and do a good lift
I've got a little over 4 inches of true lift and I would never try and run 33s
