Is anyone just running the OME coils, yes I know the Frankenlift uses OMEs but I was thinking of just using the coils, little less lift I know but....Anyone with good/bad points? Just some of those late night thoughts ya know Also is anyone running any other strut/shock besides Ranchos, like Monroes?? Im the guy who always likes to try something different! So share some pros and cons |

I have the ome lift. I got around 1.5in of lift on the front with one conduit washer on the cleavis, that doesnt add much lift at all. I also have the ome coil overs and rear shocks, the ride is awsome. Its alittle soft so if you like the HARD stock ride then I would get rancho coil overs and rears shocks b/c I believe those ride stiffer. Any more questions? |

I have the Daystar spacers up front and just switched to the OME HD springs in the rear. I would highly recommend this, since they ride better and fix the rear sag. I tow a trailer a couple times a week and the OME springs work beutifully. Allen |

I have the OME HDs with Ranchos all around and got about 2.5". You could'nt ask fer a better ride. Call Quinn at All-J Products, he'll get ya fixed up. |

Edwin, do you know if the rancho coil-overs give more lift? Or do you think its where you got the HD front springs? I have MED duty on the front, HD rear. Around 2in lift rear and 1.5 front. |

I have heard that the ride is great with the OMEs so that was a plus for me. Also with the ARB laying on the garage floor begging to be put on I want the right springs so that there is no sag next week or next month . With the ARB I know I will need the Heavy Duty ones for the front, plus I pull a trailer quite a bit also, so looks like HDs for the rear too. Edwin so you got 2.5 all around? Sounds good to me. Will All-Js sell just the springs I looked on their website but didnt find anything. Guess a phone call tomorrow will tell. |

They will sell you the HDs. The HDs will give about 2.5". |

New guy here ! with the HD coils installed will I need to get a front wheel alingment or not ? I too haul a trailer around couple days a week . Aslo can I get these from my dealer ? Thnaks |

Welcome aboard! Yes, you will need a professional wheel alignment with any lift. If you can't get in for an alignment right away, you can readjust the Toe yourself if you know what's involved. I have heard that if you order your lift from All J's, they can tell you how much to tweak your tie rod ends to at least bring the Toe almost back to spec. You can do an initial Toe adjust after the lift, then put some miles on your lifted KJ, and then see if your Toe needs another tweak after your lift has settled some. Maybe another forum member can provide the tie rod tweak info. You basically measure the Toe before the lift, and then after the lift install you readjust both tie rod ends equally to return the Toe to as close to the "before" measurement as possible. FYI... when I jacked my KJ up 2 inches, the Toe changed about 3/8's of an inch. You'll have to call your dealer to see what lifts they may carry, but you could end up spending a lot of $$ due to dealer markup and install fees. My dealer only carried the Daystar spacer lift. I am going to get the OME HD lift with Rancho shocks for the rear. |

i had the MD OME coils at the front with LD rears on my KJ and the stock struts and shocks, The ride became VERY STIFF with almost no front flex , honestly do yourself a favour and replace the struts at the same time i have found the combo of OME coils and Rancho RSX struts and shocks brilliant, if $$$ are an isse at least get the struts replaced , as the front end will be apart anyway Fouros |

I have HD rear coils as already said with MED front coils and ome coilovers and rear shocks, the ride it great! Much better than stock. I would get the front HD if you are getting the ARB, the ride cant be any worse than stock. |

I have the Frankenlift that uses those coils, so this might not be so relevant, but i digress. The ride I got with the HD's in the front, was a bit stiffer than stock, but i also like it 100% better. Feels like it holds to the road better. Also, if you are going to be getting the ARB, you will have to have the HD's anyway, so you might as well just put the HD's in and be done with it. |

I have the HD's on my Rockfather II lift. Rides great, no problem here. Down the road if I add the ARB, I am all set up front. with all the added weight from my audio set up in the rear I thought the HD's would be the way to go. |

I kind of fiqured that I would use the HDs all around, but wanted the "Great Advice" that comes from everyone on here. Now to get them ordered, that ARB just lays there and keep looking at me as if when are you going to put me on, I am waiting! ! So thanks to everyone. |
