Should I go ahead and get the two for the front, or should I just hold off since I plan to install an arb or comparable bumper. ( After lift and armor of course)

Depending on how fast you can get the ARB, I would say get the front tow hooks. If you dont go wheeling that often then wait and get the ARB. Its better to spend the money on the hooks if you do go and then later on get the ARB then not have the hooks, get stuck and not have anyway to get out (even with the rear hook).

If you're out wheeling and get stuck, a tow truck will cost more than the hooks would have. You can always get them now and sell them when you get the bumper.

I agree...get the hooks now and sell them when you get the bumper.

I'm going to have to join the crowd here. I'd get the front hooks, unless you will not be wheeling at all (not even the little stuff that so magically and quickly becomes the "uh oh" stuff) until you get the armored bumper of your choosing.

You can sell the hooks afterward. People are always snatching up front tow hooks on this board and other KJ boards (sell 'em here on LOST though...as a matter of fact...forget that I even mentioned the existense of any other boards...boards? What boards?).

x2,3,4.. get them. Recovery should be on the top of the list if you plan to wheel.

The hooks for the front usually sell for around $100 so you'll definitely want to make sure you can sell them if you get an ARB bumper later.

15 dollars to JCWhitney and 15 minutes of your time and you can have front tow hooks.
And you didn't pay much if you can't sell them.

Yes but those hooks will require driling/modification to the frame of the Jeep.
