Can any problems arise in the future from applying anti-seize on the front outboard axle splines (4WD) where they go into the spindle?
Any negative effects from this?

I grease the splines where they go into the hubs and where the CV connects to the intermediate shaft. To date I have yet to see any problems arise from this and it helps big time next time those thing need to be taken apart again.

We replaced the passenger side CV at ECS one time. People thought it would be a big pain to separate the CV and intermediate shaft. Only took two smacks with a hammer.
