So, I have had around $2500 dropped on my Jeep in the last two weeks. First had to get it towed as my radiator cracked and spewed all my coolant out on the road. So, they replaced the radiator, thermostat, hoses, and said the pulley tensioner was shot too so they did that. Then I got my new Duratracs mounted and balanced. So went to get them aligned and they said the tie rods were siezed. So took it back to the original place that did the coolant system repair and they said the tie rods arent bad but my upper ball joints are bad. So, I told all this so you can see that I am in no shape to spend any more money at the moment. Especially since I am unable to work at the moment from an accident...which is why I cant work on my Jeep on my own. So, I believe that those ball joints can not be swapped out (going on what I have read in other posts). Is this correct? If thats the case, there is no point and getting the OEM control arms, since because I am frankenlifted its going to wear on those ball joints way faster anyways. So, I suppose JBA is the way to go.
What is the best version of the JBA upper A arms are the ones to get? I know they had issues with a version.
How long can I go on these bad ball joints before replacing?

Thanks!

What should be things to look out for and concerns to have while I am waiting on getting the new A-arms? Its going to be a few months probably

I just threw mine out after upgrading to JBA during my lift and my stock ones were not worn out. not that it would have been the best but if I kept them I would have sent them to you if you wanted to use them until you could get a set of JBA A arms

Once mine started clunking bad I drove it for a month or so, just took it easy. I wouldn't recommend that though.
