I wish i had never bought this heep. Just had both head gaskets replaced because coolant was leaking into one cylinder and caugsing a rough idle and misfires. Well im not losing any coolant anymore, but it still runs rough and misfires. The shop said the electrical system tested fine. possibly the alternator or battery going out? I'm open to any ideas. Some days the engine purrs like a kitten then occasionally throws a little pbbt stutter in there. Other days it rattles like a tank. I want to drive it off a cliff. It had 49k miles and started falling apart at 38.5k I've had it for a year and a half and have already put in about 3 grand of repairs. |

Are you actually getting misfires in the computer when you feel them? Ever see a flashing service engine light? I know the shop tested the system, but spark plugs are am easy fix especially if you don't know when they were last changed. Pulling them out will give you a good chance to inspect them as well. |

I have changed the spark plugs. Did it a few times when I was trying to trouble shoot the idle before the new gaskets and I changed them again after the new gaskets. Its only been 2k miles since the "fix" and it still ran a little rough even right after the repairs. Maybe I need new coils... |
