do you just pick them up and remove them? or do you have to get inside of something?

About once a week at work I detail my jeep inside and out.

But i dont have any carpet and about to bed line the inside, so i just pull my plugs and wash it out. But all the plastic i wipe down with sani-wipes i get from the hospitals.

Btw im a paramedic so i get alot of free time at work, sunday i slept for 13 hours. Not too bad.

Nice my friend is a fireman and he gets alot of free time too. 12 hours of doing nothing sometimes.

So did you just rip out all of the carpet so just the bare metal is showing? I was thinking of doing something like that and rubberizing the floor.

Yep i ripped all my carpet out, i rerouted all my wires under the side interior molding. Theres plastic covers that hide all the wire from the factory. I took those out and put in sheet metal. Im planning on bed lining the floor.

Ill take a few pics when i get back to the station.

It isnt much, i just had some sheet metal lying around the house, cut it to fit, and screwed it down. Now i just have to find rubber plugs for the drain holes, the factory ones are ment to never be pulled out. Right now i have them duct taped down.

Once i find some floor plugs i will bed line it.

Most of the bed liner products are polyurethane-based, and therefore a bit flammable... just a thought. Also, I used it on the floor of my rock buggy, and the texture is a pain in the arse to clean.

In my last trail rig/daily driver, I just pulled the carpet, and used Husky liners... worked great.

Might try www.mcmaster.com for the plugs.
