Im going to lift my 05 CRD with OME 1.5"! Should i get the med. or hvy springs for the rear? I don't tow heavy. How much lift will i get i hear that most get more than 1.5". Anything else i should know or need for this? I have rustys 1/4" spacers and 3 ring clevis on the front now 20 1/4" hub to flare on the front Two extra iso's on the rear 20.5" hub to flare What is the best size tire 245/75/16 245/70/16 235/75/16 I don't want to deal with any rubbing issues i don't mind a little gap between tire and flare, but i don't want the tire to look to small. |

Theres only one way to go really on the springs for a CRD If going OME, then 790 fronts and 948 rears 790s are rated at 500 lb stock CRD are 410 927s are rated at 400 lb so why go lighter weight ? Also you can look at Ironman full spring lift since they also have ones for the CRD Both are similar in ride/handling etc Lots of great information on here already if you take the time to read through it You'll be able to run a 245-70-16 then also and with what you have now your springs are sagging |
