tommudd wrote: Aftermarket ?? Only one there is worth buying JeepinByAl And Bilstein and OME is the way the go To "expand" on this a little. .... Stock UCA's will work with a 2.5 - 3 inch lift, but there can be "rubbing" issues with the lift coils. Jeepin' by Al has without a doubt the best aftermarket UCA's available. They aren't cheap, but you only have to buy them once. Rocky Road Outfitters has their "Rockfather" UCA's available. They are less expensive than JBA's, but have a less than stellar reputation among KJ owners. The Rancho shocks you're seeking are no longer manufactured, and virtually impossible to find new. Bilstein, or Old Man Emu (OME) are your best alternatives to Rancho, and both have great reviews from those who are using them ( such as myself). Hope that helps..... |

I don't currently own a KJ but, I still miss the ol' girl. See them everywhere and reminisce. Anyway. When I buy another... It will get OME shocks, 2.5" springs and UCAs from JeepinByAl. Along with my own custom clevis spacers and OEM spacers in the rear. Probably get Al's y-link extension, and IF I keep it IFS, DEFINITELY have to have that steel front diff! Anyway, not to get OT... Al has UCAs. |

Good luck, you will need it. |

Doesn't seem worth the gamble to me personally. Good luck though. Maybe you will be that lucky 1 that doesn't have problems. Just in case, Set aside a saving account or line of credit. Start saving so you have the money to fix all the issues you'll encounter. |

When I first installed aftermarket upper arms on my co workers KJ they didn't fit at all. Almost 1/2 inch off on one side. Needless to say he had to go with Als. Slide right in with no promblems. I have the Rocky Road arms in my garage that he bought and they wouldn't give him a refund becuase the "box was open". Pure bull ship their part disnt fit and the welds look like barnacles. My sister can weld better than that. My co worker gave them to me as a secret santa gift....hahaha funny guy. Just go with JBA Sent from my Home Phone using Tapatalk |

I bought my JBAs after the shop wanted like 275 bucks for a new factory upper control arm and install...on just one side. Well upon install of my new jba arms, I found the other side was bad too. Also did a clevis lift while I was under there (great time to do it btw). Now its all aligned and feels solid Sent from a rock |
