It Looks like Mark has updated the design some, the frame connections do not use the side bolt and spacer like to version on his site has. It also looks like it can be installed without modifying the ends of the crossmember. I will do a writeup when it comes time to install.

At the risk of seeming to be very stupid, what is it? I can't quite make it out (probably because of my age!)

It's a Backbone system for the KJ. When I up my winch on the front it will allow me to think I can go places I probably shouldn't.

I have it installed on the front end already, now I just need to cut up the bumper. Will have a full writeup soon. This version did not require that I cut up the crossmember to fit the frame inserts in. I also did not have to remove the washer bottle from the passenger side which made things a bit easier.
