Post subject:  Frankinlift with HD OME Springs

Well.. I am working on my list of future mods and was wondering if running a Frankinlift with the HD OME springs and no ARB bumper or winch for awhile would hurt anything? I am looking at install my lift around July but won't be getting an ARB bumper and winch until next year...

Thanks,

Ben

Hurt anything ? No way. It will probably sit a tad bit higher than the rear, maybe 1/2". The OME is a 2" lift so if you net 2.5 you'll still be ok and should have no binding.

mine went up 4 1/2 inches in the front and 3 inches rear and then I added 2 more spring isolators to each side in rear to level it

You got 3" of lift in the rear with only the OME HD's and Ranchos?

I am more worried about the CV angles.. I have seen pics where the angle is like really bad.. But after some settling.. They look alright... Just wondering if it would take longer for them to settle with the HD springs since I won't have alot of weight on the front..

I have the OME HD's on my Rockfather II Kit. I do have a brushguard, but it's not that heavy and all is well.

Med duty ome coils. Not the franken lift, just ome coils. I received around 1.5in of lift on the front.

I've got HDs on my Frankenlift and it works great. A little tighter on road by awesome offroad.

Thats what I went (or as soon as All Js ships them) with Heavy Duty OMEs and Ranchos since ARB will be going on soon. I am not getting the Frankenlift just the coils and struts, wondering if I should do a clevis when I put it all together for a little more lift? :?

Well 927s are coming for the front of mine so with the ARB I should still stay about 2.5 then. Enough for me ........until something a whole lot bigger comes along.
