Hey all,

So I was driving down the road and my check engine light came on. I took it to NAPA and the guy told me the codes were cylinder 3 and 6 misfires. I went ahead and replaced all the coils and spark plugs. The problem did not resolve. In fact, it got worse a few days later.

Here's where I am confused: When I start my liberty after it has been sitting for a long time, it shakes violently and my check engine light blinks (as in the cylinders are not firing the way they should be). When I turn my jeep off and immediately restart it, it runs fine and I can drive it.

I'm thinking an ignition control unit is going out. Advice? Please and thank you.
