Recently i hear some noise from rear diff. Funny thing is, that noise is when car is not moving, and tranny is in "P" position I've changed oil (with LSD additive) but noise is still audible. What can make this noise, when transsmision shaft is not moving?! Please check out youtube video with noise recorded http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kDVLi4PB9xk Any tips? |

I realize it sounds like it's coming from the Diff - but in Park it can't really be originating from the diff. I'm guessing the sound may be from the tranny/flexplate - and the vibrations travel down the drive shaft - and the diff is just the point that echo's / amplifies the sound best. might have to pull a ujoint to really isolate that |

My liberty has been making a clicking and clunking noise for some time now. I crawled underneath and found the upper tri-link bushing are gone. I can move them around with my fingers, click clunk click. I'm going to check the bushings in the lower control arms, they might be bad/worn out too. |
