I am awaiting my Frankenlift, and i'm kinda beginning to wonder how exactly i am supposed to go about pounding the pinch weld (really what to do with the plastic) I am certain the pinch weld will be an issue as i want to run 245/75/16 MTR's

You just cut it away, so that the plastic fenderwell liner is more or less flush along that area. This will expose the pinchweld. You can cut it with either a Dremel cutting wheel or a cutting wheel on a larger grinder, I used my buddy's air grinder with a cutting wheel on it.

After the pinchweld is pounded down coat the metal with either spraypaint or undercoating/bedliner to cover the bare steel.

Bad idea...it has been tried and the area begins to seperate over time. Unless you are looking to weld in some reinforcement do not do this.

And kinda naughty (which added to the fun) and very few (at the time at least) understood why you were willfully violating the structure of something that, for the vast majority of people you knew, was perfectly good the way it was.

So after cutting the plastic part off u still need to dremel the pinch weld itself down? If so, how much to take off?

No, like skyjump said you don't want to cut the pinchweld itself. Get a BFH (big... hammer ) and beat it until it's as flat as it will get.

Once you've done that, spray something to cover the areas where the paint chipped away.
