I'm positive that my ac pulley bearing is bad. However I'm having a problem finding a website to purchase the clutch kit and bearing. Anyone know of one? Also I read somewhere about swapping the torque converter. But it didn't go into detail if it was high stall or low stall. Any thoughts? Sent from my LG-E980 using Tapatalk |

If you got the bucks, go with a Suncoast TC, they are top notch in my opinion. Got one in a tricked out Dodge Cummins pushing gobs of torque and it is the only one I found that would hold the torque. I understand they make one for our KJ's.. If I ever have any problems with the current TC in my KJ, it will get one.... |

I work for a Transmission manufacturing company, I'll have my work make me one but not sure if I need a high or low stall torque. Sent from my LG-E980 using Tapatalk |

I would say a low stall as diesels make all their power at much lower rpm's than gas engines. High stalls are for high revving gas engines. The Suncoast in my Dodge Cummins has a very low stall speed as you have to hold your foot on the break just to keep it from taking off. It will run several mph's at just idle speed when placed in drive and no brakes applied... |

Have you taken the serp belt off and felt that the ac pulley is bad? The reason i ask is that the alternator pulley is a common failure point, it rattles and makes the belt jump around. Search the crd section and you'll see several threads on the subject. |
