I found this connector by the drivers side headlight. Can anyone tell me what it's for? (2002 3.7l Sport)

Completely OT, but I wonder why they used silver valve covers then they used black? I kinda like the silver ones. |

Just kidding, I don't know, maybe the connector that would go to the outside temp sensor if you had EVICs? |

Or as suggested, it could be where to plug in the harness for fog lights. |

The battery tray has a heat sensor on it. That looks like the harness that plugs into it. It would plug in to the underside of your battery tray. That's my guess, at least. Ed Edit: Can't get any sentences together this morning. Too much coffee and too exited about Moab

The plug goes to the temperature sensor for the the overhead display. The sensor is mounted on the radiator frame. Smitty |
