When an 06 KJ is lifted, do the front swaybar endlinks need to be lengthened to maintain an unstressed state at the new ride height?

No they will be fine
Just be sure when installing the lift to tighten the sway bar ends AFTER the weight is on the ground

Tom, your point is noted. I did that when the lift was installed.
The reason I am asking is because both front tires rub on the sway bar at full lock.
I have searched, but didn't come up with anything for the Jeep.
On the race car, any time we raise or lower the suspension, we need to equilibrate the end links to remove any preload, and this moves the bar ends vertically.
Just wondering if the sway bar ends are too low now.
The ride height is 21.25" front.
I would like to take care of this right away so as not to ruin the tires.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

i would imagine if you did not return it to the angle that it was originally at, the force which the swaybar applies would be altered as you would be changing the angle on which the suspension acts on the bar and amount of leverage the car can apply to it and vice versa. The suspension is always going to move up and down in a single direction, if the ends of the sway bars change angles is will change how the up and down force passes into the bar. I would think this would cause more force the be applied to the bushings and less into keeping the jeep flat.

now that i think about it, this may not be entirely true since the angle will change on both sides of the car. Ill wait for someone smarter to chime in.

Also I have not clue about tire clearance.

Question on these. On my 2005 CRD I was replacing these last night and on the bottom bolt one side the link had a washer with the nut and on the other side it did not have a washer with the nut. Both nuts are flanged so I am not sure if the washer is even needed but want to put it the way it should be from the factory. Also just want to confirm the torques are 100 ft-lbs top and 85 ft-lbs bottom for these.
